Felt like I was in a fog today. Finally after a decent meal and an iced coffee, I feel better!
Took my dog along for the ride to Starbucks. Free coffee is more delicious than that I worked for (thanks KT Kids…).
On the way, I got a wave from a guy in an Aspire (gotta love my Festiva). I even took Cooby for a walk through the park. He was out of breath when we got back to the car but I didn’t have any water for him :(
I couldn’t get together the energy to go to the junk yard today (foggy) to look for an engine head for the white Festiva. I’m really hoping I can find a good B3 Festiva head so I don’t have to switch the intake and exhaust manifolds like I would for an Aspire head. The increased efficiency of an Aspire head is tempting though; rolling rockers create less friction than the rockers that ride directly on the cams of the Festiva heads.
Anyways, back from auto-talk… I’m sick of worrying about college. As much as I want a career to come tap me on the shoulder and lead me it’s way, it’s not going to happen. Lawrence tech sounds all fine and dandy but the ‘Harvard of Automotive Detroit’ might not be where I should go. When I went for a counselling appointment, I was hoping they would help me figure out what engineering path would best suit me. When we got to that part, He just said, “So here are your options, which one are you most interested in?” and left it up to me. I can’t pick without knowing where to go from the end of the program… At the same rate, I’m running out of time to choose. I can’t be picky :( I’m turning 21 in less than a month and I know people who are already in the field of their desired carreer. I’m envious, to say the least.
I’m mostly a jack of all trades. Good at a lot - great at nothing. Anyone want to hire me?
A much needed vacation is coming up at the end of August. Going to California to hang with Joey for a week and drive home cross-country. I’ll be getting out there early to celebrate his birthday with him on the 25th. In the meantime, I’m going to have to make plans to go camping and hit up the water park. Maybe go disc golfing or a road trip somewhere. Lately, the UP has been calling my name… I’ll be up there in October for my cousin Elaine’s wedding though.
In conclusion, sorry if this post distrupts your usually photo filled tumblr feed. I had a few minutes to chill and a bit on my mind I wanted to express. Thanks for your hospitality, your computer screen was very pixellated and cozy, now scroll on :D

I should make note
